The following key characteristics of Individual Health Insurance
Plans can vary from one company to another:

Deductible Amount ($250, $500, $1,000…) – the amount that
the individual must pay prior to the insurance company paying
their first dollar |

Coinsurance (50%, 80%, 100%) – amount of the insurance bill
the insurance company pays (after you have met your deductible) |

Doctor Visit Co-pays ($25, $50) – some policies will allow
you to visit the doctor and only pay the co-pay amount for
the consultation. The deductible and coinsurance amounts do
not apply to the consultation. |
